A (Silent) Cabride film filmed in 2017 across the former Lancs and Yorks Railway from Goole on the East Riding of Yorkshire to Wakefield Kirkgate (West Yorkshire), via Snaith, Whitley Bridge, Knottingley and Pontefract. The passenger service across the route between Goole and Knottingley is now down to three trains per day in both directions, which is retained as what is known a parliamentary service to avoid formally closing the route. Freight has also dramatically reduced with Drax power station now burning Biomass and Eggborough power station and Kellingley Colliery having closed.Unfortunately as with all our older videos the sound is muted due to restrictions at the time. We hope this doesn't detract too much.
